Rainforest Cafe
Shortly after we returned at the restaurant it was our turn to enter the restaurant. We walked downstairs into the restaurant where we were guided to our table. Inside the restaurant you will find several pavilions with all kind of animatronics (elephants, a gorilla etc.), surrounded by plants and trees you will find in the rainforest. The ceiling of the restaurant is covered with little lights which give the impression of a starry sky. You really get the feeling you are in the middle of the jungle.
The dishes you will find on the menu are close to the McDonalds or Burger King menu's, lots of French fries, hamburgers etcetera. The prices are high, certainly for what you get. However, I think you should try the restaurant at least once because of the set-up of the restaurant itself. Not to long ago I heard (I do not know if this is true however) the Rainforest Cafe in London might close soon. The reason would be the low popularity. Apparently people indeed visit the restaurant once, but hardly come back because of the high prices. Visit the website of the Rainforest Cafe for more information. You will find the Rainforest Cafe in London at: 20 Shaftesbury Avenue, Piccadilly Circus. Phone: +44 171 434 3111.
